FitSpirit Quebec City Campaign 2020

Girls are becoming less active...
Time to act!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Quebec City Father-Daughter Ball planned for the fall, unfortunately cannot be held. However, the need to engage teenage girls in the practice of physical activity has never been more dire and FitSpirit is seeking your help. In the current situation, physical activity and extracurricular sports are essential for our girls. More than ever, they need to be active for their mental and physical health.

This year, FitSpirit’s goal is to increase the number of partner schools in the Quebec City area by 30%. To achieve this, we need to raise $100,000 by November 15, 2020.

You can help reverse the trend towards physical inactivity in teenage girls.

While more boys continue to be active during adolescence, a large number of girls who were physically active during their childhood cease to be as they approach puberty. By the end of high school, 9 out of 10 girls fail to meet Canadian guidelines for physical exercise.

Help the girls in your community!

Please share this appeal in your network!

We thank you in advance for your generosity!
